He became the Sacrifice!

For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us. 1 Corinthians 5:7b

He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not his mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not his mouth. Isaiah 53:7

My friend, I wonder where you've been
When He suffered and died on Calvary's hill?
Dear friend, how couldn't you have seen
When He freely surrendered His will?

What are you waiting for, dear friend
He did call your name long before
It was His Love until the bitter end
as He sacrificed His inner core

Didn't you hear His cry so loud
When He was forsaken, and left alone?
Didn't you see His hand reaching out
To save your soul, your skin and bone?

Come now to Him and grasp His Hand
Allow Him to be your Friend and Lord
Let Him make straight that which is bent
And He'll provide you with new support

It is never too late, to follow in His lane
This time be willing to surrender your ALL
Bring Him all your cares and daily pain
Come now to Him and answer His call !

Some serious thoughts....

*
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:25-27

Perhaps you may have noticed that people are overwhelmed by situations and sins close to home and far off; such as war, crime, disasters, epidemies, licentiousness and addiction, to name a few. Far more information is reaching the homes than some 100 years ago or even 50 years ago, and far more families are involved in the above mentioned situations and sins.

Children don't play around as they used to in my time. They are occupied with internet cruelsome games, facebook "friendships", drugs and addiction ect. Their minds and thoughts are overloaded with the things they shouldn't even know or participate in. The green grass will dry up and wither, is what God's word speaks off. Do you see the picture?

To be occupied by the evil things of this world and its lust puts fear in the hearts and souls of people of all ages. They are cornered, tied down, bound by the things they serve. They are following the wrong pattern instead of seeking God's way of salvation and deliverance.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30,31

Save some of that "green grass" our youth, by presenting them the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Show them the "Way" by living a holy life, dedicated unto God. Be an godly example to them that walk in darkness, so they may see a glimps of the love of God through our lives. Therefore let Christ be in you, for His glory and the furtherance of his kingdom.

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. Peter 1:23,24,25a

Let your light so shine...

God's Protection!

* O LORD, Thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. Psalm 139:1-3

Recently, my husband and I helped our oldest daughter and her husband moving to their new home. I had carried a few things down from the upstairs bedroom. The treads were a little short and I thought to myself, I go only up one more time, as I didn't trust my steps while I had my arms full with her clothes. I should have never been up there anyway with my 2 steel hips.

Anyway, I took one more load and came down. Halfway the stairs I felt one of my shoes stuck to the tread's carpet. I tried to keep my balance but with my arms full my body kind of turned due to my foot being stuck. My daughter just came at the bottom of the stairs to pick up some boxes, when I fell backwards down with a big bang, my head down and my legs up the stairs. I was a few feet from the wall, saving me from cracking my head. Our daughter could not catch me, that is how fast I came down.

My husband and son in law came running down, white as sheets. They picked me up and immediately my husband layed hands on me, prayed in English and in the Spirit for total recovery. With the smack that I fell I could have broken my hips or anything else. I thanked God and continued to help.

After a short while my son in law asked me if I was OK. My daughter responded with... listen Dan, she has been prayed for and she is OK. And sure enough I was FINE. Praise God!

This was in the morning and we moved them to their new home and left past 5:00 pm. NEVER had a bruise, no pain, neither a blue or black spot anywhere.

Talking about a GOOD FATHER and an AWESOME GOD!

Psalm 107:21,22 Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.

Psalm 91:1,2 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.

He looks after the sparrows, He surely looks after me. AMEN!

Psalm 48

*

Please, meditate upon the following words of God, and you will be greatly blessed

Psalm 48

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

AMEN AND AMEN!

Beloved, there is much "depth" in this Psalm 48, much to consider and much to praise God for.

A related poetic writing may be of encouraging to you, since God dwells upon the praises of His people.

Focus on the Leader!

From time to time, He allows each one of us to go through trials which seem to go far above our understanding and our capability to bring about change. Sometimes God brings His children into impossible situations to show us who He is and that He is able to change things.

Put your mind on ZERO, rest in the Lord and blindly follow Jesus Christ, Your Leader!! Then.. all things will fall into place, no matter what your situation may be. Isn't He the ONE who looks after the sparrows, will not He look after you as well?? Surely He will. AMEN!

Psalm 34:19...Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalm 91:7... A Thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

If you need encouragement the following writing may just do that!

TRIALS VERSUS TRIUMPH

Be blessed and encouraged in the Lord.
