Victory over Trauma

He gives power to the weak. And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young man shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Allow me to add to this Scripture in Isaiah, my personal experience with the Father. if we, being His followers, are or feel weak in ourselves, we present in reality the "handle" to God. In other words we would say: "Lord, please take over".

To receive from the Father, the above is the exact position you should be in.

Let me assure you, that if you come to this point in your life and bring it to the Father He will take over immediately and you will see the power of God manifested in an AWESOME WAY.

He is not a man that He should lie, but rather He will keep His promises to His children.

You will read how I stood face to face with a convicted murderer and was it not for My Father, I would have been murdered and my unborn baby would also be dead.

Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord. Jeremiah 1:8

I am the PROOF that the Lord is real and right at our fingertips when we need Him. I had been prepared over the years in the spirit, the time had arrived for practice.

We were in the Ministry, I knew my place in His Kingdom and was familiar with the battle in the Spirit against the enemy, but I had never experienced what happened next.

It was around 7:00 am. I was at home by myself, the children were still in bed. I was 8 months pregnant of our 4th child. I had come downstairs after my husband had left for work.

I had just started the washing machine and a pail of hot water was standing on the kitchen floor, when a man climbed over an 8 feet wooden fencing, which enclosed our backyard. He came to my kitchen door and pulled it open with force, I stared into the eyes of one who was bewildered.

We had met before. He was an ex-convict, and had finished his 8 year jail term for manslaughter, which could as well have been murder. He was also a fierce fighter.

He knew me well and hated me. Our eyes made contact and stayed put while we checked each other's strength. I measured his ability and concluded that I could not outdo him. Any feeble attempt on my part would be a disaster and only aggravate him more. He knew my strength, which was not physical, but spiritual.

He came closer. His bloodshot eyes, due to the alcohol and fighting, appeared protruding. He kicked the pail with boiling water over, which was standing between us. Now he had come so close, I could nearly feel his breath. I did not move. I knew he came to hurt me, he had killed before and could do it again. One kick in my belly from him would have brought me right into labor.

I stood my ground, not saying a word, my mind on blank, my soul on God. I showed no fear. When he started to lift up his hand towards me, I broke the silence and said: "Herman, do not touch me." I repeated myself in an unnatural calmness. I did not panic. I had no time to think, I had no physical compatibility, but I had the Lord. I could ONLY count on Him, I had no choice.

The Lord allowed me this experience as to test my faith, and He knew I could do it. Praise His Powerful Name! I continued: "Herman, if you touch me, God will touch you," pointing my finger towards heaven. Both of us were still standing in the same position.

I knew one thing, Herman didn't even have to hurt me, just his touch would have done him in. It scared me more to know that he could drop dead right in front of me, than being hurt myself by him.

We stood there for a few more minutes, which felt like an eternity to me. Still making eye contact. The Holy Spirit was tangible and Herman must have seen something which I didn't see. His arm went slowly down. Herman dropped his sword, so to speak. He turned around and left through the same door he had come in.

I was not even shaky, I took a deep breath of relief and praised the Lord. I wiped up the floor, got the kids out of bed and continued with my daily chores as if nothing had happened. I call this the supernatural Power of God. Thank You Jesus!

I will render praises to You, for You have delivered my soul from death. Psalm 56:12,13

He who walks in integrity will be delivered. Proverbs 28:18

It doesn't make any difference who we are; Daniel in the lions' den; the three men in the fiery furnace; Joseph in the pit; an Israelite followed by Pharaoh's Army or YOU with a revolver being pushed into your back. It may make a difference to us, but not to God.

He can close the mouths of the lions; direct someone to pull Joseph out of the pit; divide the waters of the Red Sea or even take the bullets out of the pistol. Why not?

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me? Jeremiah 32:27

Now, after years I look at this event objectively and only see the battle in the heavenly region. I don't see people, I see spirits and His Holy Spirit using the believers in Jesus Christ as battle field.

Let us clear our fields from obstacles, let us put down strongholds in our lives, let us allow this spiritual warfare to end into Victory through our faith in Jesus Christ and our dependency on Him. Let it be to glorify His Name!

For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall.
As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
Psalm 18:29-31

With our God we can jump over mountains. AMEN!

We can learn from those who went before us, such as the heroes described in God's Word.

Let the name of the Lord be praised. AMEN!

Knowing the God we serve.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep. John 10:10, 11

To be “born again” and have received the infilling of the Holy Spirit, as Paul explains in 1 Corinthians Chapters 12,13 and 14, is what we need in order to be able to apply God's word properly, and to rightfully divide His word.

No need to fear any judgement to come from God's end to those who sincerely follow Him. We have a LOVE relationship with the Almighty, therefore He has only the best in mind for His children. Fearing God does not mean that we need to be afraid... but to respect and esteem Him highly.

Jesus would and will never offend His followers, but will put those in their place who oppose Him and twist God's word, as the Pharisees did, those merchants in the Temple, and so many Church goers who do not have Faith in God but walk their own way, warming the pews.

Jesus never spoke offensive to those who followed Him. Those that WANT to do the will of the Father, NOT “must” do the will of the Father. God's children do not have a dreary life to follow the Lord. It is a life of joy and happiness, because God will carry us through the most difficult times in our life. A born-again follower of Christ may have “dreams” and “aspirations” and many will be fulfilled because the FATHER CARES.

A few GOOD promises of the Father below, showing His care for His children. He is not a “slave driver”. We come by free will and a desire to obey His voice, and He will make His promises come true, according to His word.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 7:7,8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

Deuteronomy 28:1-7 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

I am suggesting that you read the rest of the above Chapter and see what God has in store for His children... Just AWESOME.

Rejoice in the Lord, your God! And I say again REJOICE! AMEN!
He is the SAME, yesterday, today and forever! What He has promised then, He has promised NOW. HALLELUJAH!

Some may think or say... "That is quite a task to obey God's word" ... and YES it is... if you're trying to do this on your own, in your own strength and as an "obligation"... but that is the wrong way to tackle this.

In the first place God's child has received His Love through Christ. Next, we must expect from Him all that He has promised and make it our own. Then we have to give our ALL to Him so He can do His work in our lives. This totals up to that it is NOT us who are trying to obey God's will, but it is HE who works it out in our life.

We are NOT His "slaves" but His children. Thank God!

Beloved, it is far more simple than you expect and act. Throw yourself in His Life-Line and allow Him to rescue you... so you can be free and walk in happiness. REMEMBER... it is only SATAN who is the SLAVE DRIVER. Give your ALL TO God and you will be just FINE!

Be blessed in the Lord God Almighty.

Come and Get it

Jesus is the SAME, yesterday, today and forever. One can just skimp over it and think... well that was said a long time ago... and you will miss out on the most IMPORTANT happening in your life, "THE NOW".

God's word is for any time, any year, any situation... not for way back then... If so, God's word would not have any present value. And this is a outright LIE!

Learn to take God at His word.
He is not just your neighbor, He is the Creator from before the Creation and for ever there after. AMEN!

JESUS GIVES LIFE, because HE IS LIFE.
What a wonderful message Jesus brings us by saying : "BECAUSE I LIVE, YOU SHALL LIVE ALSO."

This is spoken with the same authority and power as Jesus said to the lame man "STAND UP AND WALK", and he walked!

What Jesus brought to those around Him is not for the "future" BUT FOR THE "NOW". This way He speaks through His Word to YOU. Take it or leave it!

I would say: This is your opportunity "COME AND GET IT" for God has provided for those that believe.
AMEN!

HAVE FAITH IN GOD! And you may see mountains moved.

ARE YOU LISTENING?

Keep looking up!

Moving Mountains

FAITH IN GOD AND HIS WORD is the main issue in order to experience His promises in your life.
Faith to move mountains will put God into action.

God's promises are Yea and Amen.
The promises of God are YES, NOT "maybe". God promises are “So be it.”
His promises mean: It’s already done. The issue is more on the believer's end. Are you willing to walk according to God's word and walking in obedience?

The Father has done His part and it is up to us to be ready to receive what is promised.
He will NOT let you stand ashamed, but will fulfill that what He has promised, if you are upholding your end.

Over 50 years ago God changed my life so drastically that I became a BALL OF FIRE for His name.
FAITH IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO AND SEE GOD AT WORK.

Over the years I have experienced and seen God's mighty Hand at work. I have seen the greatness of God. Believers have to take the "risk" for trusting God, similar as Daniel, Joseph, Noah, Jonah, Peter, Paul and so many others had to learn and practise.

To grow firm in Him and in His word I went through valleys just like the 3 Hebrew children went through the fire, and Daniel in the lions' den, Noah in the ark, Joseph thrown in the dried up well etc.

I was face to face with a convicted murderer, standing alone without human help, and even being pregnant of our 4th child. But God was on my side and I did not fear. The Father delivered me from this danger in an unexpected manner.

Many more experiences have come my way, but it made me who I am now in God. We have to allow the "learning experience" of God in our life.

God’s promises that are suppose to sustain our spiritual lives so that our physical lives can blossom.
God says that you and I have been given "…exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature."
2 Peter 1:4.

He will make us STRONG AND HOLDING.
GLORIFY HIS NAME!
AMEN!

For His Glory,
Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman

The Lord is my Shepherd

Whatever life may bring your way, there is always HELP.
When you're sad or in trouble JESUS IS YOUR SHEPHERD!
If you are Happy and content you can thank Him in good times as well, for He is YOUR SHEPHERD.
What I am trying to say here is that God cares and has provided a Friend with whom we can and may share all that is on our heart.

He is available 7 days a week, 24 hrs per day.

Thank You Jesus!

A Psalm of David. Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures: He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: He leads
me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Walking God's way!

God's Word says that Jesus went around and healed ALL who came to Him.
This means COMING TO JESUS first; bring ALL your cares at His feet; surrender your life; be cleansed by His Blood.
We have to go by the "Book". Just read the fine print!

There is NO need to get disheartened, disappointed, or miserable.
Standing on His Truth will carry us through everything.
God Almighty will do according to His Word! AMEN!

He is the same, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER!!
God is NOT a man that He should lie! Numbers 23:19

If we surrender unto God's Will, as stated in His Word, He will shower us with His promises. Don't seek Him for the benefits, but surrender your life to serve Him, no matter what. "But without faith it is impossible to please God."

For He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

One more line to get to the POINT!
Throw yourself in His "lifeline", this means "Let Go", and "Bring all your worries and cares at His feet... and leave it there."
Do NOT pick them up again. This is an exercise which you have to practice daily, to stay spiritually healthy.

LET THE NAME OF THE LORD BE PRAISED FOREVER AND EVER. AMEN!

In any circumstance praise God, the Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit, for God dwells on the praises of his children! Even if you are in the lion's den; in the fiery furnace; in the belly of the great fish, or fighting Goliath, the giant.

Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Aha... do you get it?

"GO BY HIS WORD ONLY". There is nothing else in this world we can trust; nothing stays the same; all things are unreliable; man is deceiving; circumstances are like teeter-totters. WHERE CAN WE GO BUT TO THE LORD are the words of a negro-spiritual song, and SO TRUE.

We need to remind ourselves daily that we live to serve God, the Father and not serving ourselves.
We have to be open minded towards God's way, instead of narrow minded in our own little world.
GOD'S WAY IS THE BEST WAY! Praise His name forever!

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8,9

VEIL OF TEARS

Click here to see the movie trailer

This gripping new documentary film tells the untold story of millions of women in India who are culturally persecuted for no other reason than the fact that they are women.

From birth until death, their life is a vicious cycle of poverty and oppression, from the mass epidemic of female suicides, dowry deaths, forced abortion to the high rate of illiteracy among the women and even how more than 46 MILLION widows are being cast aside and ostracized by society simply because their husband died.

However, despite more than a millenia of hardships, the Gospel is being spread into the remote villages as Christian women are now rising up across the entire nation of India; bringing cultural change in every area of life for these generations of broken women, through the hope of Jesus Christ.

These are the faces of true survivors. Those who have withstood a lifetime of adversity in the face of a culture stacked against them.

Take a heartfelt journey through the eyes of these women, and others, who unveil their personal stories of triumph over persecution, rejection, abandonment and a life of tragedy.

Get a glimpse of the true resilience of the human spirit and how the love of Jesus is restoring hope and dignity to a generation of broken women, and rebuilding shattered lives.

p.s. Turn off the sound of my Blog site, at the right top of this site, before you watch this "movie trailer".

Time is running out!

As we can read in God's word many “great” Kingdoms have been and are brought down to the “Guillotine”, because they have forsaken the God of their fathers and go their own sinful ways.

Many who walk in their own way have become resentful of God’s instructions. They don’t see the need of keeping His ordinances, because they have lost touch with God Himself. Worldliness has taken over.

Counsel and advice is sought outside of the Lord, with the consequences thereof. Many go back to Egypt, their old land of bondage. How sad this may sound. Leaning on the arm of flesh has proven to be far from beneficial. Therefore, God’s word warns and teaches us to put our trust in the Lord.

Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of Me; and that cover with a covering, but not of My spirit, that they may add sin to sin:That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at My mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. Isaiah 30:1-3

Nations have forsaken God’s Word and have become seekers of sin and evil; lustfully indulging in all kinds of available evil through books, magazines, T.V. and Internet. They have made their own “laws”, altogether fading out God Almighty from their lives. Sin is piling up high and the stench thereof is reaching the nostrils of God. The wages of sin is death.

Nevertheless, the Lord is patient with the people, and we will praise Him for His mercies bestowed upon us. But we need to actively surrender to God and make any effort to follow after His will. All them that seek Him will be blessed.

Time is running out, and God will have the last WORD.

A Word Spoken!

Below is a spontaneous Word of the Lord,  I posted today elsewhere.

GRAB THE CHALLENGE

Whosoever seeks the Lord in all sincerity; cleaning him/herself from unrighteousness; forsaking all worldliness; desiring to follow Christ all the way in good and bad times; conquering evil in the name of Jesus, will receive all and any of the Promises of God as stated in His Word.

The such will experience the following:

You are the LIVING PROOF of God's mercy, His Love, His forgiveness, His Restoration, His Loving Kindness and so much more.

Our Father offered His Son so we received LIFE AND THAT ABUNDANTLY. God raised us up to SOMETHING, while we were nothing. The Glory of God has overshadowed us and put our feet on HIGH PLACES.

Our Father bestowed upon us the GLORY OF HIS KINGDOM. He has called us to PRIESTHOOD and to be His Hand extended. He has clothed us with His Righteousness so His blessings will flow from us to those in need.

He has given us NEW EYES and CLEAR UNDERSTANDING to see and grasp how to divide His Word correctly and how to present His Voice to the hungry and the poor who seek His Righteousness

For the glory of the Lord!

The Gate

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Matthew 7:13,14

The road before you is broad and easy to walk, so are the pleasures of this world... easy to take in. But at the end of the road is a cliff which will bring you tumbling down, you're getting hurt and there is no way out.

The road to God, through Christ the "Gate", is much narrower and not too many walk there. This is a road of self-denial and to let Christ fill your life and your desires.
But on the end of this road is NO drop-off, but a lane going up to the "house of the Lord" called "HEAVEN", where tears are dried. A wonderful place with God. Where joy and song will join together in Praises unto the Holy One.

Just read God's word and you soon will know what it is all about to be a child of God through accepting Jesus as your Savior and Friend.

Thou my everlasting portion, more than friend or life to me,
All along my pilgrim journey, Savior, let me walk with Thee.
Close to Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee,
All along my pilgrim journey, Savior, let me walk with Thee.

Not for ease or worldly pleasure, nor for fame my prayer shall be;
Gladly will I toil and suffer, only let me walk with Thee.
Close to Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee,
Gladly will I toil and suffer, only let me walk with Thee.

Lead me through the vale of shadows, bear me over life’s fitful sea;
Then the gate of life eternal may I enter, Lord, with Thee.
Close to Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee,
Then the gate of life eternal may I enter, Lord, with Thee.

BE BLESSED.

Let not your heart be troubled!

Let us lift up the name of the Lord. He is our REFUGE and our SHELTER. In HIM shall we trust. There is NO one like Him. He is our ALL in ALL...
The lily of the valley and the BRIGHT MORNING STAR.

We adore the Son of the Living God, our Bridegroom to come soon on the clouds to claim His own. Make your garments ready and let these be WHITE as snow, with NO spot or wrinkle.

Jesus is on His way. We don't know the day nor the hour, but it will not be long. Look at the trees when they begin to bud... you know Spring has come, SUMMER IS TO FOLLOW.

I dare to tell you that the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ is much closer than you may think. The signs of the time declare this and the vibration in our spirit assures His soon return. HALLELUJAH!! AMEN!!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

I am pretty "sober" and will never write anything down... just to make an impression... no way. I received it from God or I wouldn't write it.

Now I see some of it slowly coming to pass. Just amazing.

Prophetic messages the Lord gave me over the years, can be found here:

Rejoice in the Lord, and again I say REJOICE!

In His service,
Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman

These "lines" may help

"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." John 7:37

Your Father is taking the limits off so you can freely walk, talk, cry, laugh, bring Good News, comfort souls, encourage the downtrodden and lift up the depressed and sick soul. Your steps will go faster and you will reach higher as you rest in Him alone. This is all free for the taking.

AMEN! PRAISE YE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

We will become rich knowing our God through His Word, and make His Word our own and walk in it. We may be poor according to worldly standards, but as for me and our family we've never noticed this since our eyes were focused on the riches of God. Therefore He has blessed us, according to His promises. Anyone who is searching for earthly treasures and riches will miss out on God's riches and will stay "poor" indeed. Blessed be the name of the Lord. AMEN!

Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God. Jeremiah 5:4

A Man's or Woman's character is like a fence; All the whitewash in the world won't strengthen it.
Only Jesus is our STRENGTH through the Holy Spirit. He is our ALL IN ALL! We can't get anything better in this life, because He is more than life to us!

What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visitest him?
For Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet: Psalm 8:4-6

For God's glory,
Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman

Knowing His Voice!

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Matthew 6:25-29

Put your worries aside; do not allow others to take away your joy; be not impressed by the wickedness around you; let not your mind be filled with fear; rather rest completely on what the Father is telling you in His Word and BELIEVE His promises.
You don't need to suffer if you take God's Word at face value! He is the TRUTH and the LIGHT. Stand firm on His Word even if you see the opposite at the moment.

TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT! The Lord has spoken.

God does not speak to His children just to say something, as we may do, but our heavenly Father spoke the Word in the beginning and it came into existence. He spoke all through the Old Testament and it happened. He is still speaking today.

God looked down from the cloud and the pillar of fire when Pharaoh and his gang pursued His people crossing the Red Sea. Not only was the water divided by God's power, but the Word of God continues to say that the Lord took off the wheels of the Pharaoh's chariots, to make their travelling difficult. NO, not the angel of the Lord... GOD HIMSELF did undo these wheels.

Just imagine the involvement God will have with mankind. How easily can one overlook this without noticing the detail!
Again this is precision work and timing. Just read Exodus Chapter 14.

The Lord is never too late, neither too early. We have to learn to trust Him in His judgement about things and time. Trust Him!

The secret of hearing God speaking is, by drowning out all "noise"; nullifying the enhancement of oneself; being humble before the Lord; not going for outward appearance; no desire to be praised by others; but rather simplicity in whatever we do, say, think and are.

Just being a ZERO before God Almighty, so that He alone will be glorified through our life. It is most important to be "humble and silent"; to really understand His way in "hearing His voice" in order to present His Message to His children.
Glory to God!

In God's Service,
Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman

The Challenges of our Christian Walk

O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of His praise to be heard: Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

For Thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou laidst affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but Thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

I will go into Thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay Thee my vows, which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble. Psalm 66:8-14

Beloved friend in Christ,

Allow me to share from my personal experience how important and beneficial it will become when we allow the Father to teach us through the Word and personal experiences. May these experiences be a challenge or blessing.

I have known the Savior and the Father, and the Holy Spirit for some 53 years.
In the early stages I walked step by step, just as a baby learned to walk, stumbled here and there, but got up and walked a bit better after. As time went by my leg muscles became pretty strong and I could even run after several years. Of course speaking about my spiritual walk with God.

Now there have been challenges in my life and I had to decide which way I wanted to go... my way or the Father's way. I struggled and fought my way through the trials.
Many difficulties crossed my path but I was holding unto the Lord, because I knew that I would be a loser if I didn't.

Some trials were poured over me with force, but I overcame in the strength of the Lord.
Later on I learned to not avoid the challenges God brought my way, since they became learning experiences. The Father taught me to apply His word and promises, so I would overcome for His glory.

Some were painful years, similar as where Joseph went through when he was thrown in the dry well by his brothers, sold and then during his tenure put into prison due to the lies of Potiphar's wife, remember?

Joseph did not crumble under the pressure, he rather was a help to other prisoners. God led him out and Joseph became the right hand of Pharaoh, and the mightiest in the land of Egypt at the age of thirty.

What I am trying to tell you is that if we want to grow and become stronger in the Lord so He can use us in His service, we HAVE TO GO through the God provided challenges to build up FAITH and TRUST in His word.

If we would ignore that which God puts on our path, we will be missing out on learning experiences which would have strengthened our FAITH and our walk with Him. The result of this may be that we lose the chance to see God at work.

Also one will become weaker instead of stronger by ignoring God's direction.
By Not using your "muscles" you will become weak and eventually powerless, right?

Just check some of the Mighty men of God throughout the Bible and you will agree with me that their life was far from easy... then read what they received in return... AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE WITH THE MASTER HIMSELF.

The three Hebrew children had one of the greatest experiences in the fiery furnace, especially when they walked out unharmed. Daniel in the lions den was another person who walked in obedience unto God, nevertheless he was left in the lions' den to be shred to pieces, but wasn't.

Has God changed? Absolutely NOT!! We are the ones who may change.

With this, I want to encourage you to accept all that the Father has arranged for your present life, with the ability to lay treasures at His feet due to your surrender unto His will and ways. Also the tremendous JOY which will follow you in the way God will lead you and use you through these trials. All this with the assurance to experience His Mighty Hand in deliverance, healing, restoration, reunion, and so much more which you don't want to miss.

Right now I am very moved by the Holy Spirit, just by remembering what exercises I had to go through to become what God had in mind for me, and not who I decided to be.
But looking back, it was worth it all. Through allowing God to mold me into His image I have experience great heights, have been raised from serious sick beds, have seen oodles of mighty miracles of which the first miracle was the instant healing of my oldest sister who suffered for 10 years from serious mental illness and hallucination.
After that I counted nothing impossible with God.

Beloved, be encouraged and go the extra mile with God, because He has something special lined up for you at the end, I promise because I know it.

Fear not for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord Almighty. Look up for your redemption draws nigh.

When Christ returns He will reward each person according to what he has done. HALLELUJAH!  AMEN!

Be greatly blessed by the Father.

In His service and for His glory,
Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman
